Support Our 24-Hour Flight Challenge!
We are the cadets of 104 (City of Cambridge) Squadron Air Training Corps — a dedicated group of young people with a passion for aviation, teamwork, and community service. As part of our mission to challenge ourselves and give back, we’re taking on an ambitious 24-hour flight simulator challenge — and we need your support!
This isn’t just about raising funds. It’s about pushing our limits, working together as a team, and showing what young people can achieve when driven by purpose. We’re proud to support two causes close to our hearts: the East Anglian Air Ambulance, which provides life-saving emergency care, and our squadron, so we can continue offering opportunities that help cadets grow, learn, and lead.

The Challenge:
Three cadet teams will fly simultaneously for 24 hours using our flight simulators, piloting virtual Grob Tutor aircraft around the UK. We’ll be flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) — no autopilot, no GPS — relying entirely on our skills, navigation, and teamwork.
Our route includes a fly-past or touch-and-go landing at every RAF station in the UK, unless we need to refuel. If all teams successfully complete the mission, we’ll finish with a spectacular formation flyby — which we hope to livestream!
This challenge was inspired and planned by the cadets themselves as a way to put their training into action and make a real difference in their community — upholding one of the core values of the Air Training Corps: service.
Why We're Doing This:
To raise vital funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance
To support our squadron and future cadet opportunities
To honour RAF stations across the country
To demonstrate the values we live by: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our goal. Help us show what young people can achieve when they aim high — and fly even higher.
Thank you for your support!
